On Second-Hand Gary...

Gary was brought into being in the Summer of 2012.
I had decided to have a crack at the old 'spoken word' malarkey, and duly braced myself for a gig at my mate's night at the Hollybush pub in Cradley Heath.
As a man with more pseudonyms than Howard Marks, I'd plumped on performing as either 'Dusty Enclaves' or maybe even 'Derek Shatner'. Mood would dictate...
So I turned up, and my mate the MC told me how he'd said to the promoter, "And on the bill there's also 'Daren Garratt..."
And the promoter replied
"What was that?!! 'Second-Hand Gary'????!!!"
So I said,


"YES!!!"
